Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Utilize a data-driven methodology to analyze diverse signals for the identification of emerging trends and tactics in Cybersecurity fraud.

• Generate innovative ideas for new products or features by keeping abreast of industry advancements and swiftly executing proof of concepts.

• Leverage efficiencies provided by AI coding tools and adopt an AI-first mindset to address customer challenges.

• Engage in the complete development cycle: design, development, testing, analysis, and deployment.

• Create, implement, and sustain scalable, high-performance APIs and backend systems.

• Possess experience with microservice architecture and containerized services.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and customer-facing teams, to deliver high-quality software.

• Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering, with over 6 years of proven experience as a backend Software Engineer.

• Have a solid track record of working in startup environments characterized by rapid development.

• Preferably possess coding experience in Typescript or Python.

• Exhibit strong expertise with data storage solutions such as Elastic Search and PostgreSQL.

• Be proficient in writing efficient, maintainable code, with a consistent practice of incorporating comprehensive unit and integration tests.

• Have practical experience with tools aimed at identifying and resolving backend performance bottlenecks.

• Show demonstrable experience in utilizing AI code development tools.

• Knowledge of AI LLMs, prompt engineering, and Agentic AI frameworks would be a significant advantage.

• Implement security best practices and protocols to safeguard sensitive information.

• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and address customer concerns effectively.

• Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify production issues.

• Possess excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Have experience working with leading cloud service providers.
