This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop new features and enhance existing systems, prioritizing quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Possess a strong understanding of software architecture and the capability to suggest structural enhancements to the system.
• Implement integrations between internal and external services, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code by adhering to engineering best practices and the team's defined standards.
• Create and execute automated and unit tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, front-end, and data teams to facilitate end-to-end delivery.
• Actively engage in code reviews, contributing to shared learning and upholding technical standards.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Document workflows, architectures, and adopted practices to enhance knowledge sharing.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives) with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Strong experience in back-end development using Node.js and Java.
• Proficiency with both relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience in handling large data volumes and executing complex or heavy queries.
• Knowledge of modular service architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with automated testing, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD processes.
• Previous experience in digital product teams and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, along with effective communication skills for both technical and business stakeholders.
