Senior Software Engineer, Authorization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and implement scalable, secure, and well-documented services using Go, NodeJS, or Python.

• Ensure that the code adheres to high standards for performance and maintainability, focusing on minimizing latency for users worldwide.

• Create and design automated test cases for both new features and legacy systems.

• Utilize CI/CD gates to maintain quality standards and mitigate regression risks.

• Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams across various time zones to refine specifications and evaluate technical feasibility.

• Align the engineering roadmap with overall business objectives.

• Establish alerts and runbooks to enable reliable, zero-downtime deployments for distributed operations.

• Enhance engineering processes through the use of automated tools and AI-assisted development, including code generation, test generation, and dependency tracing.

• Engage with the complete technology stack, from operating system internals to SaaS front-end development.

• Participate in on-call shifts and respond during scheduled periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional programming experience.

• Demonstrated success in delivering end-to-end, production-quality, complex, and scalable software solutions.

• Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and/or Python.

• Openness to learning VueJS as required for full-stack integration.

• Comprehensive understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC (OpenID Connect), JWT, and IAM systems.

• Strong aptitude for Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.

• Familiarity with cloud technology concepts.

• Ability to excel in a geographically distributed, asynchronous team setting.

• Strong skills in written documentation and GitOps practices.

• Capacity to meet rigorous Definition of Done standards.

• Exceptional organizational and technical leadership abilities.

• Skill in achieving consensus and providing clear direction in cross-functional environments.

• Proficiency in facilitating effective decision-making across multiple time zones.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in India.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Willingness to participate in assigned on-call shifts.
