Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the production GitOps deployment API and CLI, developed using TypeScript/Node and NestJS, ensuring reliable operation.

• Manage and enhance self-service deployment tools utilizing ArgoCD ApplicationSets and Helm for GCP Cloud Run.

• Oversee the shared TypeScript package ecosystem within an Nx monorepo, including application ingress/edge-routing layers and Helm charts.

• Create high-performance internal tools and APIs in Go for managing infrastructure metadata and lifecycle processes.

• Design durable long-running workflows using execution frameworks like Temporal across Git, cloud service providers, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop MCP servers and Agentic AI workflows to streamline the automation of infrastructure configuration, updates, and audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering or equivalent, focusing on building and maintaining infrastructure, platforms, or delivery systems utilized by other teams.

• Extensive experience with delivery/GitOps tools or backend services and shared libraries on a large scale.

• Proficient in Go or TypeScript/JavaScript, with practical experience or a willingness to become proficient in the other language.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, serverless environments such as GCP Cloud Run or equivalent, and major cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.

• Capability to take over and stabilize a critical production system that is unfamiliar.

• Bonus: Experience in deployment platform operations.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Temporal or a similar workflow engine.

• Bonus: Proficiency in Terraform, including the development of modular reusable modules.

• Bonus: Experience with Agentic AI, MCP, or the A2A framework.
