This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of features and systems throughout their lifecycle across various product surfaces, encompassing architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Create clean, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Collaborate directly with engineering, product, data, revenue, and customer stakeholders to convert business challenges into delivered software.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and influence what is developed and the rationale behind it.
• Utilize Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for implementation, code review, testing, documentation, and exploration tasks.
• Work across backend services, frontend applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Make practical technical decisions that strike a balance between speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Elevate engineering standards through enhancements in code quality, tooling, and knowledge sharing.
• Actively identify opportunities, enhance systems, and drive business results.
• Manage production-grade systems that are utilized daily by customers and internal teams; maintain responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proven history of delivering customer-facing applications with measurable impact.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript/React, and cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Databricks.
• Regular use of AI coding tools as part of an AI-enhanced workflow.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and provide solutions independently without excessive direction.
• Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and the ability to translate business requirements into engineering compromises.
• Demonstrated responsiveness, reliability, and accountability for production systems.
• A proactive approach with a focus on action and ownership.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical field.
• Must not currently require, nor will in the future require, visa sponsorship.
