Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable Flutter/Dart applications that integrate with native iOS and Android platforms.

• Develop and manage GitHub Actions and Fastlane workflows for testing, signing, and deploying to the App Store and Google Play.

• Establish and refine strategies for unit, widget, integration, native UI, and end-to-end testing.

• Take ownership of dependency updates, SDK upgrades, release health monitoring, crash tracking, alerting, and incident resolution.

• Troubleshoot memory issues, UI sluggishness, network delays, crashes, and background execution challenges.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams to provide dependable customer experiences.

• Lead the annual upgrades for iOS and Android SDK target versions, manage OS deprecations, and ensure compliance with store policies.

• Oversee the mobile development lifecycle from architecture to production.

• Enhance the safety, reliability, performance, and developer experience during releases.

• Utilize AI judiciously, applying sound engineering judgment and review protocols.

• Mentor engineers and elevate the quality of the mobile team.

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in mobile engineering.

• Extensive experience with Flutter and Dart in production environments.

• Strong background in native iOS development using Swift and iOS SDKs.

• Proficient in Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, and the Android release process.

• Experience in designing GitHub Actions and Fastlane pipelines.

• Knowledge of mobile code signing, provisioning profiles, and deployment to app stores.

• In-depth understanding of unit, widget, bloc, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

• Solid grasp of WebSocket implementation for real-time communication, connection management, and error handling.

• Strong knowledge of push notification services, such as FCM and APNS.

• Familiar with tools like Sentry, Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar platforms.

• Experience with dependency management, SDK upgrades, security patches, and compliance requirements.

• Comprehensive understanding of mobile architecture, state management, data persistence, networking, and offline synchronization.

• Proficient in production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and crash reports.

• Excellent skills in communication, documentation, mentoring, and remote collaboration.
