Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assume technical leadership for essential components of the enterprise application, maintaining a forward-thinking approach to scalability and maintainability.

• Architect, develop, and enhance features utilizing React (TypeScript) on the front end and C#/.NET on the back end.

• Optimize and sustain SQL Server databases, focusing on schema design, performance enhancement, and data integrity.

• Spearhead initiatives to transform legacy codebases into modern, modular architectures employing cloud-native best practices.

• Develop and automate unit and integration testing methodologies to guarantee code quality and reliability.

• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and DevOps personnel to synchronize development activities with business objectives.

• Leverage Azure DevOps for source control (Repos), CI/CD (Pipelines), and task management (Boards).

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of team processes.

• Guide junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

• Execute other related responsibilities as assigned to support the effective functioning of the department and the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, encompassing full-stack and cloud-native development.

• Expertise in:

• C#/.NET for backend development.

• React (including Redux and TypeScript, Redis) for frontend development.

• SQL Server (T-SQL, schema design, stored procedures).

• Azure (App Services, Containers, Horizontal Scaling, Message Queues).

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI Embedded and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to create meaningful, automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit, Moq, or similar.

• Employ secure coding practices in line with OWASP Top 10.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles, including microservices and SPA design.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare sector or other regulated environments.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working across departments and with external stakeholders.

• Proactive self-starter with a dedication to continuous learning and improvement.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
