• Oversee authentication, authorization, and access controls, including RBAC, secrets, and API keys.

• Guarantee the secure handling of sensitive data across integrations and AI systems.

• Monitor for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential misuse.

• Safeguard systems against risks specific to AI-empowered environments.

• Collaborate with operations and leadership to translate business requirements into effective systems.

• Minimize manual tasks and enhance operational leverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining internal tools, automation systems, or operational platforms.

• Strong fundamentals in backend and system design, capable of creating scalable, reliable systems.

• Experience in API integrations and system orchestration, connecting various tools and services into cohesive workflows.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure management.

• Familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing workflow automation and optimizing systems.

• Ability to analyze processes and recognize opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools in production settings, including LLMs, agents, or automation platforms.

• Practical experience utilizing AI throughout the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous iteration.

• Capacity to integrate AI into real business workflows with sound judgment.

• Understanding of agent-based systems and orchestration patterns.

• Solid grasp of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secrets management.

• Experience with secure API design and integration practices.

• Awareness of common vulnerabilities (OWASP mindset) and the ability to identify risks.

• Understanding of AI-specific security risks, such as data leakage, prompt injection, and over-permissioned agents.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities across applications, infrastructure, and integrations.

• Capacity to navigate and resolve complex, real-world system challenges.

• Thorough understanding of system reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

• Ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership and accountability.

• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
