Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Architect and enhance Base360.ai, an AI operating system designed for short-term rental enterprises.

• Design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs related to reservations, availability, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and property management.

• Create event-driven automations for cleaning, check-in instructions, owner statements, and other repetitive tasks.

• Develop AI-driven systems utilizing LLMs and AI agents for guest communication, maintenance triage, pricing strategies, and portfolio management.

• Establish APIs that connect internal services, booking platforms, third-party providers, and customer systems.

• Build and sustain integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other key partners.

• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and global scalability.

• Create solutions for synchronizing reservations and availability, dynamic pricing, smart locks, guest communication, forecasting, cleaning, maintenance, reporting, financial workflows, monitoring, and alerts.

• Oversee projects from start to finish, addressing operator challenges through architecture, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.

• Make senior engineering decisions, perform code reviews, and ensure system reliability.

• Automate essential short-term rental workflows to enhance property-manager efficiency.

• Guarantee the reliable transfer of reservations, availability, payments, and operational data across systems.

• Deploy and maintain new integrations effectively.

• Integrate AI-powered workflows into customers’ daily operations.

• Scale the platform to accommodate more operators and properties while preserving reliability and performance.

• Extensive experience in building and managing production-grade software systems.

• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React, or comparable frameworks.

• Solid understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.

• Experience in designing scalable backend systems and dependable data models.

• Capability to work independently and make informed technical decisions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a product-oriented mindset.

• Curiosity regarding AI, automation, and operational efficiency.

• A proactive approach to action, execution, and learning from real user feedback.

• Ability to balance delivery speed with maintainability and reliability.

• Proficiency in English is required in the application process.
