Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement systems based on LLM technology.

• Create solutions that incorporate RAG, agents, multi-agent systems, as well as fine-tuning and evaluation pipelines.

• Scale GenAI applications from initial proof of concept to fully-fledged solutions utilized by end-users.

• Monitor and enhance application costs, latency, quality, and reliability.

• Establish systematic evaluation mechanisms, including golden datasets and methodologies like LLM-as-judge.

• Define safety measures and mechanisms to enhance application safety and predictability.

• Assume technical ownership of pivotal initiatives, making informed decisions and evaluating architectural trade-offs.

• Collaborate closely with Product and business teams to transform real-world challenges into software solutions.

• Track the outcomes of implemented solutions and leverage data to guide their ongoing development.

• Stay actively involved in implementation, maintaining a strong technical focus and remaining close to the code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, with ongoing technical engagement and current experience in writing production code.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying LLM-based systems to production, along with proficiency in using coding assistance tools.

• Practical experience with RAG, agents, fine-tuning, or evaluating LLM systems.

• Capability to make architectural decisions and evaluate trade-offs related to cost, performance, latency, and reliability.

• Proven record of technical leadership, having led, created, or scaled critical initiatives with identifiable personal contributions.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or a career path showcasing a strong technical foundation.

• Demonstrated autonomy, technical proficiency, analytical skills, and results-driven attitude.

• Experience in startups, technology firms, or highly demanding technical settings is advantageous.

• Experience in working within lean, highly autonomous organizations is a plus.

• Public technical contributions, such as open-source projects, articles, talks, or engineering content, are a plus.

• Ability to collaborate across technology, product, and business domains is a plus.

• A history of career advancement and increased responsibility is a plus.
