Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features across both frontend and backend systems.

• Create frontend components utilizing React/Next.js and TypeScript.

• Build backend services with Node.js/TypeScript and Python on AWS infrastructure.

• Manage the transaction layer that oversees disputed-claim transactions, settlement computations, and payment records related to arbitration results.

• Refine services to enhance maintainability.

• Incorporate observability features using CloudWatch and Grafana.

• Improve CI/CD processes within the product domain.

• Adhere to PII and HIPAA-grade standards for sensitive health and financial/transactional information.

• Deconstruct loosely defined tasks, clarify requirements with the lead, and deliver results autonomously.

• Take full ownership of a product area as a hands-on senior fullstack engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production-scale web applications.

• Extensive knowledge of React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js/TypeScript, and Python across the entire stack.

• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3 and CloudWatch.

• Experience in observability and CI/CD practices.

• Proficient in leveraging AI tools within an agentic SDLC, including requirement breakdown, test generation, and AI-assisted coding.

• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.

• Must reside in and have authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to maintain consistent daily overlap during core US business hours, approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern.

• Hands-on experience with integrating LLMs into products is advantageous.

• Experience in payments/transactions, fintech, or healthcare claims/billing systems, including HL7/FHIR, is highly desirable.
