Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Transform vague product ideas into well-defined machine learning strategies.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and identify key features.

• Refine multi-modal generative models for enhanced performance.

• Manage advanced AI agents, including LangGraph, effectively.

• Emphasize accuracy, test edge cases, and develop fallback heuristics.

• Establish statistical and business metrics, while creating evaluation frameworks.

• Develop production-level code in Python.

• Work in collaboration with engineering teams to implement scalable solutions.

• Create monitoring systems for overall health, track data drift, and identify model deterioration.

• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide clear, results-oriented updates to technical leadership.

• Take ownership of technical challenges from architecture through to deployment and monitoring.

• Guide colleagues and contribute to the enhancement of engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience delivering production-quality software in complex, high-pressure environments.

• Strong grounding in computer science principles.

• Proven experience in designing performant, highly scalable web applications.

• Familiarity with contemporary AI assistants like Claude and Copilot.

• Proficient in modern backend programming languages such as C#, Node.js, or Python.

• Understanding of frontend architectures, microservices design, RESTful APIs, and clean, maintainable code practices.

• Solid knowledge of cloud technologies.

• Ideally, experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools.

• Strong background in unit and integration testing.

• Bonus: experience in leading complex technical projects from inception to completion, mentoring peers, or working within the healthcare sector.
