Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +28 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, create, troubleshoot, test, and deploy high-volume enterprise applications.

• Engage throughout the Agile software development lifecycle, which includes requirements analysis, technical design, prototyping, programming, testing, debugging, and production implementation.

• Build applications and components utilizing TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, C#/.NET, and SQL Server.

• Develop and enhance SQL solutions, encompassing stored procedures, database design, and performance optimization.

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to the architecture of scalable applications.

• Identify and escalate concerns related to quality, performance, scalability, or architectural challenges.

• Diagnose intricate application and technical issues, providing effective solutions.

• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, business teams, and various stakeholders.

• Act as a technical resource, offering guidance to fellow software engineers.

• Mentor other developers and assist in the growth of the engineering team.

• Serve as a bridge between technical teams, leadership, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Independently recognize and resolve technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience in developing applications with Next.js.

• Solid SQL experience, including stored procedures, database design, and performance considerations.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development using C#/.NET.

• Proven experience in developing multi-tier components for high-volume applications.

• Familiarity with SQL Server.

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and full lifecycle application development.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a team environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.

• Familiarity with load-balancing technologies is preferred.

• An advanced degree, technical training, or other relevant education in a related field is preferred.
