Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services for client projects.

• Utilize various languages and frameworks based on client requirements and individual strengths.

• Architect service-oriented, microservices, or event-driven solutions.

• Make architectural decisions and address technical debt in legacy systems.

• Engage directly with clients, lead demonstrations, collect feedback, and refine solutions.

• Collaborate within an agile team environment, participating in regular stand-ups.

• Take part in code reviews and ensure adherence to testing and debugging standards.

• Contribute to internal best practices, documentation, and code templates.

• Share thought leadership via blog posts, webinars, and marketing content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production web applications or backend services.

• Strong expertise in at least one modern programming language or framework with production experience.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs, along with integrating third-party services.

• Proficiency in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, along with database design and optimization skills.

• Strong discipline in testing and debugging.

• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and define features or projects based on client requirements.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in Git and modern version control practices.

• Awareness of accessibility, security, and scalable application design principles.

• Comfortable transitioning between different languages, frameworks, and problem domains.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
