Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of significant components of Maven’s expanding marketplace.

• Enhance and develop the marketplace storefront.

• Create the next-generation course platform.

• Oversee recommendation and data systems.

• Assume considerable responsibility for technical systems and the product roadmap.

• Experiment with and utilize the latest agentic coding tools.

• Strategically think and manage end-to-end processes.

• Provide regular status updates in dedicated Slack channels.

• Engage in company demos and participate in semi-annual offsites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering real features to an actual user base.

• Ability to thoughtfully consider user-facing product details, data model design, and system architecture.

• High level of agency and conscientiousness.

• Clear and thoughtful communication skills.

• Experience or knowledge of React and Next.js.

• Experience or knowledge of Python and FastAPI.

• Experience or knowledge of Postgres and OpenSearch.

• Experience or knowledge of OpenAI.

• Experience or knowledge of dbt and Snowflake.

• Must be available to work within US time zones ±1 hour.
