Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in development initiatives and enhancements for ServiceNow

• Manage troubleshooting tickets within the ServiceNow platform

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs, notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS solutions

• Utilize HTML, CSS, and AngularJS development expertise

• Create and manage update sets to transfer customizations across ServiceNow instances

• Design and sustain a highly available and recoverable environment

• Evaluate requirements to ensure they are sufficiently detailed for accurate estimation

• Maintain up-to-date ServiceNow skills

• Perform peer reviews, mentor team members, and share technical insights with the service management team

• Collaborate with process owners and other stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of total experience

• At least 5 years as a ServiceNow Developer

• Experience in an ITSM organizational framework

• Proven experience in implementing Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB core process areas

• Proficient in ServiceNow development

• Familiarity with ITIL concepts

• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience

• Willingness to work the evening shift from 5pm–2am IST
