Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement platform and API solutions.

• Serve as an architect, highly skilled software developer, technical team leader, consultant, and product advocate.

• Assume full responsibility for software services and the underlying platforms.

• Facilitate application architecture and whiteboarding sessions to design resilient systems.

• Create Spring Boot/Java APIs and microservices utilizing Azure and Google Cloud Platform services.

• Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Refine APIs and microservices for greater simplicity and efficiency.

• Integrate and enhance Identity Provider (IDP) services.

• Formulate API load and performance strategies.

• Ensure that software complies with clean code principles.

• Utilize Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and GitHub for deployment, optimization, and management.

• Mentor fellow software engineers in software craftsmanship and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 13 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

• 10 years of experience using Java to design and develop modular microservice architecture.

• 7 years of experience with the Java Spring Boot framework to support code development.

• 7 years of experience in designing and developing REST APIs to support modular microservice architecture.

• 5 years of experience with NoSQL and SQL database technologies, including MongoDB, MySQL, and data modeling.

• 3 years of experience using JWT tokens and OAuth 2.0.

• 2 years of experience configuring cloud infrastructure, including Google Cloud, Azure Container App, or PCF.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and GitHub.

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), CI/CD pipelines, and Kanban methodology.
