Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and deliver high-impact features from conception to production, managing every aspect of the process.

• Collaborate directly with nurses, pharmacy partners, and internal operations to identify challenges and create effective solutions.

• Establish a rigorous technical standard through conducting design reviews, code assessments, and hands-on implementation.

• Identify and spearhead technical initiatives focused on enhancing code quality, observability, and testing practices.

• Convert vague business requirements into clear engineering plans and execute them with minimal guidance.

• Work collaboratively across various functions, effectively communicating trade-offs and timelines to non-technical stakeholders.

• Report directly to engineering leadership.

• Engage in a three-round interview process, including an in-person meeting in San Francisco.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a software engineer.

• Expertise in Golang, the main backend programming language.

• Experience in developing web services and REST APIs.

• Comfort in dynamic early-stage product settings where requirements can shift rapidly.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.

• Must be based in the US.

• Availability to work during US hours.

• Experience with marketplace product development.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies.

• Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with data analysis and SQL.

• Background in working with distributed teams.

• Preferred educational qualifications include a BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
