Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and provide primarily web-based applications in accordance with coding standards and guidelines.

• Convert client requirements into system specifications.

• Enhance functionality and promote improvements throughout the application portfolio.

• Develop project plans for smaller-scale projects.

• Assume complete ownership of designated modules.

• Independently create features utilizing the approved technology stack.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Review colleagues' code and suggest enhancements for quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies.

• Design and implement database solutions and related database objects.

• Conduct database performance optimization.

• Utilize configuration management tools and adhere to configuration management processes.

• Comply with organizational quality assurance standards throughout the delivery process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• 5–8 years of practical software engineering experience.

• Profound hands-on experience with .NET and/or Python.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET and MVC frameworks.

• Experience in source code management using Git.

• Strong working proficiency in AWS.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with Jira within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with customers, onshore teams, supervisors, colleagues, business analysts, and stakeholders.
