Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, code, test, and document software solutions that are both high-performing and user-friendly, following F&G’s established software development methodologies, frameworks, standards, and security protocols.

• Conduct unit, regression, security, and load testing to ensure the readiness of both internally and externally developed code for production as necessary.

• Design and implement complex integrations.

• Execute impact analysis for interface/system modifications that affect the application environment.

• Generate estimates for project and maintenance tasks.

• Create integrations for bespoke or third-party solutions.

• Assist in the architectural design and solution development.

• Convert undefined business challenges and established business objectives into functional solutions.

• Design adhering to architectural standards with guidance.

• Lead the technical facets of one or more applications within the department.

• Take technical ownership of one or more business-facing technologies to achieve business objectives.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders.

• Collaborate and support various IT teams and Lines of Business (LOBs) on integration initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably focusing on Computer Science or Management Information Systems) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4-7 years of practical technical experience in designing and constructing applications and interfaces.

• Proficiency in developing with Angular, .NET, and Azure cloud solutions.

• Capability to design and implement a normalized relational database schema.

• Familiarity with various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

• Extensive experience with diverse integration tools.

• Significant experience in cloud technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud development tools (functions, Lambdas).
