Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for our products.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create, develop, and implement high-quality applications and APIs.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute insights to enhance architecture, scalability, and performance.

• Take part in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.

• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure the seamless operation of web applications and APIs.

• Contribute to the development of Everbridge's agentic AI platform utilized by our SaaS solution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience as a professional software engineer.

• Experience in developing AI solutions or a strong willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with Agentic AI methodologies and coding tools.

• A diverse background in software development and delivery.

• Passion for tackling complex challenges that contribute to public safety.

• Enthusiastic about taking ownership of feature work and engaging with the intricacies of a feature’s lifecycle.

• Experience with large codebases or enterprise-grade software.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS experience.
