Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers to comprehend business needs and execute technical solutions.

• Work alongside UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and accessible interfaces.

• Write, test, and sustain efficient, reusable, and reliable code utilizing modern frameworks and programming languages.

• Engage in peer code reviews and offer constructive insights.

• Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability after deployment.

• Utilize SQL and cloud storage solutions (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake).

• Develop and uphold unit tests and integration tests.

• Diagnose and resolve application-related issues.

• Recognize and mitigate technical debt as part of continuous development.

• Assist in architectural and design decisions with direction from Principal engineers.

• Implement best practices for mobile, web, and backend systems.

• Create and utilize RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.

• Produce and maintain precise and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry-leading practices.

• Relay progress, risks, and obstacles to team members and stakeholders.

• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Employ tools like Azure DevOps, Teams, and Lucid Chart for enhanced collaboration.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in software engineering with a degree; 8 years without a degree.

• At least 3 years of experience building web-based applications.

• A year or more of delivering software in public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Proficient in modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, .Net Core) and skilled in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python).

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Experience with SQL and cloud data technologies.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

• Awareness of data security and compliance best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Over 2 years of experience in PBM or healthcare working with HL7, FHIR, EDI, and PHI.

• Utilize AI Tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude, etc.) to enhance coding, testing, and debugging processes.

• Experience in migrating applications to the cloud and transitioning to microservices-based architecture.

• Background in architecting and implementing AI-driven features.

• Familiarity with Databricks (Data Pipelines / ETL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, MLflow, etc.).

• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Azure Event Grid.
