Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality software that can handle hundreds of thousands of requests every minute.

• Explore new technologies and strategies to enhance service scalability for larger datasets and increased speeds.

• Work in collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Tech Leads within an agile team framework.

• Develop dependable systems that surpass stakeholder expectations.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Apply modern software development practices and agile methodologies.

• Experiment with innovative frameworks and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in microservices development.

• Strong proficiency in any popular programming language such as Go, Java, Python, C++, or C#.

• Experience with Go or Python is an advantage.

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems such as MongoDB, Redis, and Postgres.

• Understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns.

• Experience in consuming and developing REST APIs.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Self-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• A strong sense of urgency and ownership.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider is preferred; AWS experience is a bonus.

• Experience in an Agile team environment is a plus.

• Participation in open source projects is an added advantage.
