Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain intricate, secure, and efficient software solutions that align with DCI’s engineering standards.

• Write high-quality code to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.

• Lead and engage in code review processes.

• Diagnose and resolve highly complex issues related to systems and applications.

• Keep technical documentation up to date and assist with system enhancements.

• Aid in implementation efforts, which include testing, release, and training.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to provide solutions that fulfill customer and business requirements.

• Mentor and support fellow engineers.

• Participate in architectural decisions and significant initiatives.

• Provide dependable and scalable technology that powers DCI’s financial software platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in working within Windows and Linux environments.

• Knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical abilities.

• Effective skills in communication and collaboration.

• Consistent and dependable attendance is expected.

• Experience with financial systems or fintech applications.

• Familiarity with Agile engineering methodologies.

• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and system performance optimization.

• Track record of contributing to system architecture and design decisions.

• Demonstrated capability to mentor and lead other engineers.

• Practical experience applying AI in software engineering, automation, productivity, or product capabilities.
