This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Drive technical and architectural choices to fulfill product requirements while anticipating future demands.
• Lead teams in a technical capacity to produce production-ready code.
• Design and develop new software solutions and enhance existing systems for clients and Cority’s core software.
• Communicate directly with Product Owners to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and specifications.
• Develop high-quality software and advocate for automation frameworks for testing, integration, and deployment processes.
• Review finalized software designs or prototypes and engage in code reviews.
• Monitor sprint tasks and provide transparency and visibility to the team.
• Offer support and maintenance as needed.
• Own one or more functional areas or projects, breaking tasks into manageable stories.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their growth.
• Learn and work with modern technologies as necessary for projects.
• Report to the Development Manager.
• Collaborate with Product Development to create software that meets client requirements.
• A university degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than 4 years of experience as a developer.
• A strong grasp of the software development process and lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI tools for development, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework/Dapper, Web APIs, and microservices.
• Experience in developing database applications with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Node, Angular/React, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
