Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design and develop medium to large-scale websites, console applications, and RESTful APIs utilizing ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript within the Microsoft technology stack.

• Collaborate as part of an agile project team to comprehend and document client requirements, estimate workload, create new solutions, and improve existing ones.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow developers through collaborative coding, design discussions, and constructive feedback during code reviews.

• Create and support internal tools to enhance development efficiency, proactively address issues, and boost productivity.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to accelerate delivery and aid the team in their effective and responsible adoption.

• Grasp and collaborate on best practices for development and coding.

• Package and deploy software to integration environments such as Microsoft Azure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing web applications and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft MVC.

• More than 5 years of experience with modern software design patterns, as well as debugging and refactoring techniques.

• Proven experience in mentoring or guiding other engineers to enhance their skill sets.

• Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, with a preference for React.

• Skilled at troubleshooting issues related to HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Familiarity with MS SQL and Postgres databases.

• Experience with Visual Studio Tooling.

• Competence with code versioning tools like GitHub or GitLab.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and automated build tools such as Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Experience in building features or internal tools utilizing LLMs (e.g., Claude or OpenAI APIs, agents, retrieval-augmented generation) is a plus.

• Familiarity with accounting practices is a nice-to-have.

• Experience in creating and maintaining RESTful microservices is a nice-to-have.

• Background in working within an agency setting with multiple clients is a nice-to-have.

• Strong commitment to testing and quality assurance is a nice-to-have.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of interfacing directly with clients is a nice-to-have.

• Ability to excel in an independent work environment is a nice-to-have.

• Required skills include ASP.NET (C#), ReactJS, JavaScript, MVC, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, Visual Studio, GitLab, REST API, Azure Cloud, AWS, and Claude Code.
