Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Engage with customers and transform their feedback into technical solutions through effective design, development, and delivery.

• Write clean and maintainable code while ensuring performance and reliability as the platform evolves.

• Assess and promote solutions that address genuine customer challenges.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Identify and champion enhancements to the platform.

• Convey technical concepts clearly to engineers, product partners, and stakeholders.

• Contribute to planning, retrospectives, and various agile methodologies.

• Shape construction technology products and develop tools tailored for construction professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production software.

• Proven track record of taking ownership of problems from discovery through to delivery, driving solutions to completion.

• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably dealing with scaling and reliability challenges.

• Strong practical experience with React and C#/.NET.

• Proficiency in AI-assisted engineering.

• Solid understanding and experience with software design patterns.

• Familiarity with modern development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

• Ability to evaluate success based on whether the solution effectively meets customer needs.

• Capability to share knowledge, support, and mentor colleagues, while enhancing technical standards.
