Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical design and architectural choices for intricate, scalable systems

• Promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies

• Assess and suggest technologies, tools, and architectural strategies

• Create and implement scalable web applications utilizing .NET Framework/Core/5+ and contemporary UI frameworks

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Manage complex technical projects from initial concept through to delivery

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs while integrating third-party services

• Design, deploy, and sustain scalable applications on Azure/AWS

• Guide junior and mid-level developers

• Conduct code reviews and enhance development standards and processes

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and design teams

• Present technical solutions and proposals to stakeholders and leadership

• Engage in hiring processes and perform technical interviews

• Direct automated testing strategies and the development of CI/CD pipelines

• Facilitate architectural decision-making and technical discussions

• Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and estimation

• Diagnose complex technical challenges throughout the software development lifecycle

• Spearhead performance optimization and scalability initiatives

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and drive improvements

• Promote knowledge sharing and deliver technical training

• Contribute to technical documentation and records of architectural decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in professional software development with proven technical leadership

• Expert proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core/5+

• Strong background with Angular, React, or Vue.js

• Significant experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or AWS

• Advanced skills in database design and development using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or comparable systems

• In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns and scalable, distributed systems

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient in Git and collaborative development practices

• Solid understanding of REST, JSON, and GraphQL API design and development

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development

• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code

• Demonstrated success in leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives

• Proven ability to mentor junior and mid-level developers

• Experience in leading Agile/Scrum practices and technical ceremonies

• Strong communication skills for articulating technical ideas to diverse audiences

• Demonstrated capability to make technical decisions with an understanding of business implications
