Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Participate in the design and execution of solutions that are highly available, scalable, and efficient.

• Develop dependable IAM systems that are deployed regionally and designed to be fault-tolerant.

• Construct, integrate, maintain, and enhance IAM services on the Akamai Compute Platform.

• Create and design tools that ensure seamless operation of deployed software.

• Investigate emerging technologies to enhance IAM features and user experience.

• Improve core IAM services and design as well as develop new functionalities.

• Develop robust, fault-tolerant software aimed at achieving five-nines availability along with high performance and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience with Python or Java.

• Significant experience in software development within a Linux environment.

• Proven history of delivering reliable and secure software solutions.

• Strong understanding of IAM technologies.

• Experience in an enterprise setting.

• Familiarity with GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins.
