Senior Software Engineer – AI/M, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend systems and services for generative AI and agentic workflows, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to embed AI-driven functionalities throughout the Seismic platform.

• Monitor and enhance the performance of agentic workflows, resolving bottlenecks and guaranteeing low-latency query responses.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering best practices in backend development.

• Work closely with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies, performing research and experimentation to promote innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling microservices.

• Experience with data retrieval systems.

• More than 5 years of experience with C# and .NET.

• Over 3 years of experience with Python.

• More than 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

• Experience with event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka.

• Proficient in container technologies such as Docker.

• Experienced in microservice frameworks like Kubernetes (K8s).

• Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Experience with Domain Driven Development (DDD) or feature toggles (Launch Darkly) is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
