Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Developing multi-tenant services on public cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Designing, architecting, and utilizing APIs and backend services as part of the platform ecosystem, focusing on automation, testing, and security.

• Promoting enhancements to product quality, security, and performance that significantly affect your team and others.

• Providing mentorship or technical guidance to junior engineering talent.

• Engaging with customers and partners to assist them in integrating with our services.

• Scaling the services and addressing intriguing challenges in Space Communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering.

• Extensive expertise in Python, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Proven deep knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and its related services.

• Experience in leading the architecture, development, and construction of backend services and APIs to guarantee performance, security, and reliability.

• Capability to effectively own technical issues from start to finish.

• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with end-users to design and build solutions tailored to their needs, a commitment to self-directed learning of new technologies, and the capacity to learn swiftly and adapt to a dynamic environment.
