Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in long-term development of major systems that support our customers and their accounts.

• Collaborate closely with our sales team to identify and understand the current challenges faced by our customers.

• Partner with third-party vendors to facilitate the integration of various systems.

• Expose essential functionalities via our API.

• Investigate issues presented by clients and customers, providing assistance in resolving them.

• Produce high-quality code, prioritizing scalability, stability, and traceability.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous; alternatively, extensive experience in independent code development is acceptable.

• Demonstrated experience as a software engineer with at least 6 years in the field.

• Proven track record of taking products to production and overseeing their maintenance, scaling, and updates.

• Experience in payments, crypto/web3, and fintech is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Proficient in common web technologies and either skilled in or eager to learn: TypeScript, GCS, PostgreSQL, etc.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
