Senior Software Engineer – AI Gateway

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop innovative AI security functionalities for our access proxy product, the critical point where agent and user traffic is monitored and regulated.

• Consider protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as enforcement boundaries and create controls for communication between agents.

• Integrate this product with the Delinea Platform and validate the experience through design and engagement with paying customers on live capabilities.

• Transition these features into the Delinea Platform as the product evolves, ensuring a seamless experience for customers during the changeover.

• Enforce just-in-time access and policy decisions within the request path, utilizing the platform's identity and authorization components.

• Collaborate with product management and teams responsible for developing the platform's proxy and access engine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 8 or more years of experience in developing production backend or networking systems.

• Practical experience with proxies, gateways, API gateways, or other systems that operate within the request path to inspect or manage traffic.

• Proficient in a modern backend programming language such as Go, C#, Java, or Rust.

• Experience in evolving products through various releases, including transferring capabilities between systems without causing disruptions for customers.

• Capability to tackle complex issues with minimal guidance and make effective design choices.
