Senior Software Engineer, AI Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features from start to finish utilizing TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node, hosted on Azure.

• Create evaluations and observability tools for LLM features.

• Utilize agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as your main development environment for planning, executing, and reviewing AI-generated outputs, enabling faster delivery while ensuring clean, adaptable code.

• Take charge of AI-driven content creation and management functionalities.

• Integrate model APIs (including Anthropic, OpenAI, and others) with a focus on tokenization, latency, cost management, prompt-injection risk, and graceful degradation in case of model failures.

• Work closely with product, platform, and other engineering teams to convert ambiguous challenges into deployable systems.

• Oversee code reviews, establish technical standards for AI-assisted development, and mentor engineers in prompting, context engineering, evaluation design, and agentic workflows.

• Ensure that the systems you manage are scalable, secure, observable, and economically viable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing customer-facing products at a high-quality software organization.

• Strong fundamental skills in UI and TypeScript, with experience spanning the entire stack (including browser technologies, Node, and PostgreSQL).

• Proven ability to drive complex, end-to-end features (beyond mere incremental improvements and refactoring) that have a noticeable impact on the product.

• Product sensibility: you prioritize user experience, efficiency, and quality, and are willing to challenge decisions that don’t align with these values.

• Comfortable operating with minimal PM oversight; you can contribute to defining the problem as well as implementing the solution.

• High ownership mindset: a self-motivated, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from concept to deployment.

• Flourishes in a remote, asynchronous-first setting with a lean, high-performing team.

• Experience working at a startup or a company with a notably high engineering standard.
