Senior Software Engineer – AI Discovery, Posture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop AI agent discovery capabilities leveraging Delinea's existing cloud discovery infrastructure instead of creating a separate inventory, starting with Microsoft Azure and extending to AWS and Google Cloud as these platforms are integrated.

• Create discovery solutions for AI agents operating on endpoints, introducing a new area of focus for the team.

• Evaluate the security posture of identified agents: their configurations, accessible resources, and associated risks.

• Integrate discovered agents and their contextual information into our identity and attribution layer for effective governance.

• Collaborate closely with platform teams that provide the foundational discovery services for your initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires 8 or more years of experience in developing production-grade cloud or SaaS backend systems.

• Practical experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and asset discovery or inventory systems.

• Proven experience in enhancing or integrating with existing platforms, in addition to working on greenfield projects.

• Proficient in a modern backend programming language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.

• Capable of deconstructing complex and ambiguous problems and selecting effective technical strategies with minimal guidance.

• Familiarity with endpoint agent or device management technologies (We'd Love to See).

• Experience in security or posture management fields such as CSPM or CIEM (We'd Love to See).

• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks and understanding of how agents authenticate and operate (We'd Love to See).
