This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ You and your colleagues will take full ownership of the engineering mission for cuEST, overseeing everything from initial concepts to the delivery of the CUDA-X library.
β’ Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, optimizing, productizing, and deploying high-quality GPU solutions tailored for quantum chemistry library primitives within a collaborative setting.
β’ This role involves providing technical leadership for specific code modules while also contributing to team-wide engineering projects.
β’ By working together with broader engineering, product, and program teams, you will help bring developed products to market, emphasizing strong partner and customer engagement.
β’ You will interact with the wider quantum chemistry community, sharing insights to promote the adoption of GPU-accelerated quantum chemistry and relaying new advancements back to your teammates to enhance our efforts.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in creating high-performance numerical methods for scientific computing.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in developing production-quality quantum chemistry packages.
β’ A PhD or equivalent experience in fields such as computational physics, computational chemistry, computer science, or related technical areas.
β’ Advanced knowledge of GPU software development and performance enhancement techniques.
β’ Proficiency in C++, CUDA, and widely-used quantum chemistry tools.
β’ Skilled in lean team-based software engineering, including familiarity with utilizing agentic AI to enhance the speed and quality of software product delivery.
