Senior Software Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical management of one or more teams tasked with developing HIS products, including both Developers and Quality Assurance personnel.

• Support the Technical Product Owner for a team focused on delivering HIS grouping content using the current technology stack while concurrently designing and developing a new technology stack in a systematic way.

• Define technical direction and collaborate with the development team to establish, prioritize, and update the team’s backlog in alignment with Tech Leads.

• Provide mentorship to development staff in areas like analysis, software design, prototyping, coding, debugging, test case creation, automation, execution, documentation, support, and infrastructure maintenance.

• Engage with cross-functional teams, coordinating and communicating effectively with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Developers, and others.

• Promote Agile principles throughout the organization.

• Foster an environment of innovation and facilitate professional growth.

• Own conflict and change management to ensure productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in software development.

• At least three (3) years of experience in team leadership roles (supervisor, manager, team lead).

• Two (2) years of experience in leading the design and execution of agentic AI frameworks and systems (including multi-step reasoning, planning, tool use, and autonomous workflows) within production environments.

• Two (2) years of in-depth expertise in LLM architecture and orchestration frameworks (such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom agents) and model routing.

• Six (6) years of robust experience in building scalable distributed systems utilizing modern backend technologies (Python/Java), microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
