Senior Software Development Engineer – MLOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Enhance the management systems for ML assets (models, data) to improve the developer experience and strengthen governance capabilities.

• Develop and refine model serving infrastructure, prioritizing inference latency and cost efficiency.

• Design effective inference pipelines that optimize latency, throughput, and cost across various acceleration methods.

• Implement scalable solutions that are both cost-effective and suitable for enterprise use.

• Engage in collaboration within a cross-functional, distributed team aimed at ongoing system enhancements.

• Partner with Machine Learning Engineers, QA Engineers, and DevOps Engineers.

• Assess and adopt new technologies and tools.

• Participate in architectural decisions pertaining to distributed ML systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with Python.

• Familiarity with model lifecycle management tools such as MLFlow, Weights & Biases, or similar.

• Experience in the data management ecosystem, including aspects of quality, transformation, and cataloging.

• Proficient in ML frameworks, especially PyTorch.

• Skilled in optimizing ML models utilizing hardware acceleration technologies (AWS Neuron, ONNX, TensorRT).

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining AWS serverless architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of event-driven processing patterns, including SQS/SNS and serverless caching solutions.

• Experience with containerization via Docker and orchestration tools.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design and implementation.

• Capability to write high-quality, secure code and familiarity with static code analysis tools.

• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and communication skills in both spoken and written English.

• Experience applying foundational Computer Science principles in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.

• Background in areas such as model compilation and quantization, performance profiling, and benchmarking of ML inference systems.

• Experience in regulated industries that require strict compliance for cloud-native solutions.
