• Lead the initiative for test automation.
• Take ownership of the complete test automation roadmap. Define the strategy, prioritize tasks, and drive implementation across the team. Collaborate with QA and engineering to determine what to automate, how to do it, and the timeline.
• Enhance the foundational framework.
• A Playwright/JavaScript framework is already established. Elevate it from a foundational level to enterprise-grade, focusing on performance, stability, and reusability.
• Broaden the scope and depth of coverage.
• Introduce automation into areas that currently lack QA support and increase regression coverage on core systems: Salesforce, MuleSoft, D365 Power Apps, D365 F&O, DCR, and Tagetik.
• Establish a scalable design and review process.
• Contribute to building a design and review process that maintains high automation quality as the suite and team expand, including test design standards, code review practices, and framework contribution guidelines.
• Enhance test execution and reporting.
• Develop the infrastructure that enables rapid test execution, clear result reporting, and emphasizes signal over noise, including parallel execution, smart retries, and actionable dashboards.
• Create specialized QA agents utilizing Cursor AI.
• Design and deploy AI agents for performance testing, regression analysis, and defect triage, among other functions. Utilize Cursor as your development environment and treat the agents as products addressing specific challenges.
• Deploy QA agents on the AI fabric.
• Work in conjunction with the AI platform team to host your agents on the organization's AI fabric, ensuring they are discoverable, governed, and reusable across different functions.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling test automation frameworks in production environments.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of Playwright and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with automation in complex enterprise SaaS applications, preferably Salesforce, MuleSoft, and D365 (Power Apps and/or F&O).
• Practical experience in working with LLMs and AI coding assistants, particularly Cursor.
• Strong understanding of API testing, contract testing, and integration testing patterns, especially across layers like MuleSoft.
• Ability to define test strategies, coverage targets, and quality metrics, and to advocate for them to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate a flaky test's root cause to a junior engineer and discuss coverage gaps with a product lead.
• Proven inclination for taking initiative and the ability to function independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Health insurance.
• Retirement plans.
• Flexible work arrangements.
• Opportunities for professional development.
