Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +26 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop platform services.

• Create forward-thinking designs and construct microservices using Java, Spring, React, or TypeScript.

• Develop and manage services on AWS utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Design and enhance real-time and batch data pipelines with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Implement RESTful APIs, message queuing patterns, and event-driven workflows.

• Utilize tools like Claude Code to expedite the development process.

• Maintain a strict definition of done in your work, ensuring production reliability.

• Engage actively in code reviews with an emphasis on edge cases, security, and failure-mode management.

• Offer structured feedback to engineers and compose RFCs and design proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in software development, platform engineering, or distributed systems.

• More than 2 years of experience in building production services, APIs, or microservices within cloud-native environments.

• Practical experience with AWS (or a similar platform), containerization, and contemporary deployment patterns.

• Proven, judgment-driven application of AI development tools like Claude Code.

• A solid track record of delivering complete work on time, with minimal post-release issues.

• Experience in mentoring engineers and providing structured technical feedback in a team setting.
