Senior Software Developer – Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate product requirements and convert them into automated testing cases and strategies.

• Design, develop, and sustain automated test cases for AI-driven API and UI automation testing.

• Embrace and implement contract-based API testing methodologies across various services and integrations.

• Assess and enhance existing testing frameworks, tools, CI/CD processes, and automation architecture.

• Establish and enforce Standard QA processes and best practices within engineering teams.

• Collaborate closely with developers to foster a shared responsibility for software quality.

• Work with teams to confirm user journeys and client-facing workflows.

• Mentor and support teams on test automation and quality assurance practices.

• Assume accountability for testing outcomes and quality results within the team.

• Develop and maintain custom testing tools to aid development teams.

• Capability to systematically analyze product requirements, identify potential risks early, and design effective automated testing strategies.

• Experience collaborating closely with developers in integrated engineering teams.

• Substantial experience in test automation and quality engineering within a software development setting.

• Extensive experience in API testing.

• Familiarity with UI automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright).

• Proficient programming skills in TypeScript and/or Python, along with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to review, enhance, and scale testing frameworks and processes.
