Senior Software Developer, Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• You will closely collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to develop and improve applications by managing AI intent within a specification-driven development framework.

• As a technical authority, you will facilitate AI agents in generating production-ready code and automated tests, employing multi-LLM workflows for code verification and quality assurance.

• You will offer recommendations on optimal practices for AI-native workflows while ensuring code maintainability, security, and performance.

• Create solutions that enhance value and efficiency across systems while reducing technical debt.

• Skillfully utilize AI agents and GitHub Copilot to implement .NET solutions based on high-level specifications.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to achieve product goals and refine specifications.

• Uphold a "Test First" approach by managing the intent of AI-generated code to ensure it meets the functional, security, and performance requirements of the product.

• Stay informed about technology trends and product roadmaps to steer development.

• Contribute to cross-functional business processes.

• Advocate for best practices, inter-team collaboration, and process continuity.

• Mentor junior engineers as they develop their skills.

• Cultivate a collaborative culture founded on trust and respect.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in a computer-related discipline or a related business field, along with six (6) or more years of experience in Information Technology and solution delivery, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in similar areas is mandatory.

• Proficient in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-native coding in VS Code.

• Expertise in GitHub Copilot Agent Mode and AI-driven debugging.

• Experience with .NET 6+ using C#.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Experience in Unit Testing.

• Understanding of RESTful web services.

• Knowledge of messaging and queuing systems.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React.

• Preferred Experience: MySQL.

• PostgreSQL.

• Kubernetes.
