Senior Software Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of new features from start to finish: assess requirements, design solid architectures, implement solutions, and oversee their deployment to production.

• Establish technical standards and influence the culture of testing and reviews.

• Offer comprehensive feedback during code reviews.

• Develop clear documentation to ensure long-term maintainability of the platform.

• Independently deliver features from initial conception to operational status while evolving systems over time.

• Proactively contribute to the development of product, processes, and technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven experience in leading feature development from conception through to production.

• Familiarity with the long-term evolution of systems.

• Technical knowledge of Python-based web applications.

• Proficient in Django, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and Linux.

• Experience with code reviews, quality assurance, and clean development practices.

• Basic understanding of IT security, secure software development, data protection, and the management of sensitive data.

• Methodical working style, strong analytical skills, and a keen focus on testing and documentation.

• Supportive, team-oriented with excellent communication abilities.

• Native proficiency in German.

• Very good command of English.
