Senior Software Developer - .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design scalable, resilient, and well-organized architectures, weighing trade-offs between performance, cost, complexity, and time to market;

• Assume complete ownership of the entire process: from design to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement of systems;

• Create and advance backend solutions in .NET, adhering to best practices, design patterns, and a strong emphasis on quality;

• Update and modernize existing systems, which includes refactoring legacy code and addressing critical incidents;

• Convert technical decisions into tangible business outcomes, aiding stakeholders in their decision-making processes;

• Establish automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to guarantee software reliability;

• Incorporate observability from the start, including metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and business continuity plans;

• Engage actively in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives);

• Identify issues proactively, streamline solutions, and minimize unnecessary complexity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development using .NET and C#;

• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and MongoDB;

• Skilled in data modeling and query optimization;

• Familiarity with Entity Framework and Dapper;

• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ and/or Kafka) and event-driven architecture;

• Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and integrating various services;

• Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes;

• Background in working on high-volume, high-criticality systems;

• Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication and authorization;

• Experience using monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog);

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban);

• Regular utilization of AI tools in everyday development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar);

• Strong expertise in automated testing;

• Ability to grasp the customer's vision.
