Senior Software Developer, Front-end

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design architecture, prototypes, and proposals that are in line with the product and platform vision.

• Shape technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and collaborative efforts.

• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and tech leads to define the product/platform architecture roadmap.

• Balance the speed of delivery, quality, maintainability, and the long-term health of the platform.

• Decompose large initiatives into manageable, parallel tasks that provide incremental business value.

• Advocate for proposals throughout the SDLC, from design to production implementation.

• Enhance the core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and the overall SDLC.

• Diagnose production issues and promote reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.

• Maintain technical documentation and produce new artifacts.

• Lead design discussions across different teams.

• Act as the team's representative in technical discussions with stakeholders from technical, operations, product/UX, security, and other domains.

• Serve as a trusted technical leader through collaboration, influence, and shared ownership.

• Guide developers through design reviews, collaborative agentic-AI sessions, and constructive feedback.

• Disseminate knowledge of technologies and industry best practices.

• Assess emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud capabilities.

• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and architectural coherence.

• Identify and spearhead opportunities for agentic automation and AI-assisted workflows.

• Mentor developers on responsible usage of AI tools and establish team-level guidelines.

• Define and enhance the internal developer platform, including monorepo structure, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Enhance the developer experience and minimize friction in the SDLC.

• Guide engineers on monorepo management and CI/CD best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience with a proven impact beyond a single team.

• Extensive expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Nx monorepo architecture at scale.

• Experience in designing and managing CI/CD systems, such as GitHub Actions or equivalent, for multiple teams.

• Proficiency in designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale, preferably on AWS.

• Strong foundation in software principles: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code quality advocacy.

• Familiarity with agentic-AI software development practices.

• Experience in designing and utilizing HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL.

• Proven track record of mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong initiative to enhance processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality.

• Experience with AWS.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, or equivalent component library tooling, WCAG 2.1, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Nx Monorepo.
