Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create scalable and maintainable software solutions through full stack development.

• Utilize AI-enhanced workflows incorporating Claude Code and MCP connections to production data, Jira, Notion, Sentry, and Datadog.

• Actively enhance and leverage AI development workflows.

• Identify and troubleshoot bugs while addressing root causes to improve stability.

• Participate in on-call duty rotations.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

• Recognize and reduce technical debt.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and take part in learning opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in developing with modern web frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, or similar.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, or equivalent tools.

• Full stack development skills with the potential for specialization in a particular area.

• Excellent communication abilities for remote collaboration and cross-functional discussions.

• Daily active use of AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar, demonstrating productivity improvements.

• Preferred expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and React Native.

• Experience in developing reusable AI workflows, skills, or tooling is preferred.

• A degree in Computer Science (B.Sc. or higher) is preferred.

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform is preferred.

• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Fivetran, or dbt is preferred.

• Background in early-stage startups is preferred.
