This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Take the lead in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise applications.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to assess business requirements, outline project scope, and convert needs into technical specifications and scalable software solutions.
• Create and develop backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications for web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Contribute to and spearhead application architecture and system design by utilizing established design patterns and reusable frameworks.
• Build, maintain, and enhance SQL-based data solutions.
• Engage in DevOps best practices.
• Write high-quality, well-documented code that complies with industry best practices and coding standards.
• Lead or assist in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Generate and sustain technical documentation.
• Offer expertise in database design and management.
• Participate in or take the lead on initiatives focused on software development best practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience with at least four years of relevant programming experience in engineering or a similar domain.
• 8–10+ years of professional experience in software development or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Capability to integrate AI functionalities into software development workflows.
• Preferred familiarity with: Enterprise software solutions, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server and other relational databases, C# and the .NET framework, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Strong foundation in database design and/or administration of enterprise relational database management systems.
• Proven exceptional interpersonal, communication, and technical writing abilities.
