Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee engineering and architectural aspects of brokerage applications.

• Speed up the development of cutting-edge products within the transportation sector.

• Carry out system design tasks and assess application module specifications, classes, objects, methods, and other software elements.

• Ensure that architectural solutions align with both technical and functional requirements.

• Guide development teams in constructing, deploying, and sustaining critical enterprise architecture.

• Maintain code quality while adhering to patterns and best practices.

• Analyze and decompose feature request epics to assess the level of effort and identify sub-tasks.

• Engage in the recruitment process for new team members.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Knowledge of microservices, micro frontends, and REST APIs.

• In-depth understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise architectures, architectural styles, and design patterns.

• Familiarity with full-stack coding practices and programming languages.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Availability to work Monday-Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern time.

• Occasional travel (less than twice a year) to conferences or other offices may be necessary.
