Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical and career advancement of professionals within the field

• Act as a mentor and technical guide for architects and emerging professionals

• Recognize skills deficiencies and devise development and training strategies

• Promote certifications, technical advancement, and knowledge sharing

• Contribute to the retention and development of talent within the field

• Establish, enhance, and communicate architecture standards, frameworks, methodologies, and best practices

• Ensure uniformity and quality across architectural solutions

• Facilitate technical discussions and aid architecture decision-making

• Organize and maintain reference architectures, standards, and ADRs

• Advocate for best practices in security, scalability, resilience, observability, and sustainability

• Coordinate and lead the Architecture Center of Excellence (COE)

• Ensure the team’s skills remain up-to-date and that capacity is appropriate

• Develop and oversee the technical roadmap for the discipline

• Identify trends and emerging technologies relevant to the organization

• Assist in the evolution and adoption of SAI App 3.0

• Support the assessment of professionals’ capacity and availability

• Aid in the proper allocation of professionals and technical sizing of teams

• Collaborate with Client Faces to identify account requirements

• Provide technical assistance in the development and pricing of proposals

• Estimate effort, seniority levels, and team structures

• Facilitate technical discussions with clients and stakeholders

• Contribute to solutions that reconcile technical and business needs, costs, and feasibility

• Serve as a technical and personnel reference within the Architecture discipline, enhancing governance, standards, capabilities, and professional allocation

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture and Software Architecture

• Proficient in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD, APIs, and systems integration

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)

• Capability to design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions

• Familiarity with architecture governance, Reference Architectures, and ADRs

• Knowledge of legacy-system modernization

• Experience in leading, developing, and mentoring professionals and technical teams

• Ability to establish standards, guide technical choices, and lead governance initiatives

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and Client Faces at various levels

• Proven experience in pricing and crafting technical proposals, including effort estimation, seniority levels, and team composition

• Familiarity with AI applied to Architecture, including evaluating technical trade-offs; creating AI/GenAI solutions, RAG, and AI-agent architectures; integrating AI models; and addressing security, scalability, and governance for AI solutions

• Proficient in English or Spanish, capable of functioning in professional settings and engaging in technical discussions

• Relevant Architecture and Cloud certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP (a plus)

• Experience in Data Architecture (a plus)

• Background in presales, consulting, or client-facing solution architecture (a plus)

• Experience in digital transformation and technology modernization environments (a plus)

• Knowledge of FinOps, DevSecOps, and observability practices (a plus)
