Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a Scrum development and DevOps team to create and implement scalable software solutions for core banking and bill payment applications.

• Evaluate complex processes and diverse technology environments to architect and develop software solutions.

• Produce design documentation and assist in planning, requirements gathering, and solution design throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Design and create responsive user experiences, delivering comprehensive solutions for Billpay user interfaces and APIs.

• Develop APIs that can handle high-throughput and high-volume transactions for omni-channel platforms.

• Improve API solutions to offer straightforward, user-friendly APIs for fintech companies.

• Engage in the development of roadmaps and strategies for documenting and presenting API specifications.

• Establish design standards, coding conventions, and engineering best practices.

• Lead technical evaluations, architecture discussions, and solution designs.

• Propel AI-assisted engineering methodologies and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes for secure and repeatable deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in software engineering and architecture.

• 3+ years of practical development experience with Microsoft technologies, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript.

• Experience working in Agile delivery settings.

• 2+ years of experience in building APIs and full-stack enterprise solutions utilizing technologies such as Web API or WCF.

• Experience in supporting applications that process high-volume transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, or a combination of education, certifications, training, and work experience that is equivalent.

• 2+ years of experience with contemporary JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS and/or Angular.

• 2+ years of experience in automated, unit, integration, and performance testing using tools such as NUnit, Postman, and JMeter.

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, payments, and cloud-based environments, including private and/or public cloud infrastructures.
